Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG –The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on June 24:

* Jaron Decanis Cunningham, 26, Parkersburg, was sentenced Monday on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance. He received one to 15 years in prison wtih credit for time served and was assessed court costs.

* Melissa Jean Cook, 43, Mineral Wells, was sentenced Monday on an uttering charge. Cook received one to 10 years in prison which was suspended for three years of probation. She was assessed court costs.

* Eric Hampton Stevens, 36, Parkersburg, was sentenced Monday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He received one to five years in prison with credit for time served and was assessed court costs.

* Desirea L.Webb, 32, Parkersburg, was sentenced Monday on a charge of conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. Webb received one to five years in prison with credit for time served and was assessed court costs and restitution.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports June 24:

* Damon Thomas Brannon, 46, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing with reckless indifference and released on a $2,500 bond. He was arrested June 21 after allegedly fleeing from Parkersburg Police from the 1100 block of Charles Street to the 3800 block of Camden Avenue, at speeds reaching approximately 95 mph.

* Mitchell Allen Parsons, 37, P.O. Box 611, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and bond was set at $100,000 surety. Parsons was reportedly found in possession of 14 e-cigarette cartridges containing high amounts of THC, a derivative of marijuana.

* Tabitha Grace Howell, 28, 1102 29th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of unlawful possession of fentanyl and bond was set at $100,000.

* Kevin Madrid Nipps, 43, 2 Worthington Lane, Apt. 4, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting, petit larceny, failure to yield and improper lighting and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Lindsey Sherman Tibbs III, 41, 30 Berkshire Court, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of battery and fleeing on foot and bond was set at $3,000 surety.

* Adam Michael Meeks, 18, 31 Holland Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count each of reckless driving and speeding and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Matthew Joseph Hunter, 45, 362 Wilbur Lane, Alma, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of battery, petit larceny and destruction of property and was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Kristan Nichole Turley, 20, 605 Medina St., Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Monty Lee Thompson, 38, 32 Ash Circle, Davisville, was arraigned on an open dump charge and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Timothy Ray Williams, 56, 866 Pleasant Hill Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving under the influence and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Ryan Nelson Rader, 36, 1318 19th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense DUI and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Bruce Allan Stover, 69, 39 Oak Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-offense DUI and fugitive from justice. Bond was set at $3,000 surety for the DUI count, but he was held without bond on the fugitive warrant.

* Stephanie Nicole Hopkins, 27, 147 Saddle Lane, Waverly, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $205.25 in fines and court costs and $190.62 in civil penalties.

* Velinda Bernice Berga, 20, 1001 SR 821, Marietta, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed by the state after labs failed to identify a controlled substance.

* Casey Charles Lehew, 39, 350 Tanner Lane, Walker, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $205.25 in fines and court costs and $558.18 in civil penalties.

* John Edgar Jacoby, 38, 4304 14th Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of third-offense driving under suspension dismissed after the defendant and officer failed to appear.

* Nicholas Anthony Grimmer, 25, Walker, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and obstructing and was assessed $490.50 in fines and court costs.

* Jarron Nathaniel Farnsworth, 31, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order, was sentenced to 30 days jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $420.25 in fines and court costs.

* Dacoda Thomas Watson, 24, Parkersburg, had charges of obstructing and domestic battery dismissed after the victim could not be located.

* Joel Patrick Bartimus, 25, 5055 Westland Road, Stockport, pleaded guilty to false report of an emergency and was assessed $195.25 in fines and court costs.

* Lisa Marie Duley, 47, 524 Reed St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $215.25 in fines and court costs and $618.48 in civil penalties.

* Daniel W. Thomas, 23, 605 Lulu St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and was assessed $270.25 in fines and court costs.

* Eric Daniel Whitlatch, 49, 4416 17th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $205.25 in fines and court costs and $174 in civil penalties.

* David Lee Phillips, 36, Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed because the state didn’t wish to prosecute.

* Margaret A. Brown, 38, 120 James Lane, Waverly, pleaded guilty to a worthless check charge and was assessed $565.94 in fines, court costs and restitution.

* Brandon William Miller, 38, 819 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and fleeing and bond was set at $1,500.

* David Middleton, 18, 5 Parkview Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and underage consumption and was released on $500 bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on June 24:

June 21

* Scott Edward Joy, 39, Second Avenue, was issued a citation for driving on suspended.

June 22

* Adam Michael Meeks, 18, Holland Avenue, was arrested on a warrant for five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and additional charges of reckless driving and speeding.

* Jefferson Robert Griffin Jr., 67, Shelbyville, Ind., was arrested on charges of fugitive from justice issued through Rush County, Ind.

* Bruce Allan Stover, 69, Oak Circle, was arrested on charges of DUI and fugitive from justice issued through Washington County.

June 23

* David Bradley Middleton, 18, Parkview Drive, was issued a citation for underage consumption and public intoxication.

* Cheryl Renee Naylor Walker, 36 BelleMeadow Drive, Marietta, was issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance.

* Leonard Franklin Travis, 48, N. Hart Street, Marietta was issued a citation for driving on suspended and no MVI.

Belpre Police

BELPRE — Belpre Police Department released the following reports on June 24:

June 18

* Jennifer L. Jones, 46, Belpre, was arrested for assault.

* James W. Radabaugh, 32, Belleville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

June 19

* Cody D. Smarr, 25, Belpre, was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail for two counts of domestic violence.

* Nathan S. Tewkesbury, 34, Belpre, was arrested for theft and disorderly conduct.

* Thomas C. Nelson, 51, Little Hocking, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and improper lane change.

June 21

* Bailey B. Glodowski, 19, Belpre, was cited for speed 70 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Brandon S. Thomas 20, Parkersburg, was cited for speed 64 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Levi B. Mugrage, 23, Little Hocking, was cited for failing to display license plates.

* Abigail M. Stratton 21, Cambridge, was cited for speed 67 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Carlie N. Biehl-Wilson, 21, Belpre, was cited for expired registration.

* Lauren H. Brumley, 18, Charleston, was cited for expired operator license.

* Carmella R. Cornecelli, 28, Parkersburg, was cited for speed 65 mph in a 50 mph zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* April L. Goodwin, 40, Logan, Ohio, was cited for speed 67 mph in a 50 mph zone.

June 23

* Michael S. Whitlock, 61, Belpre, was cited for driving under suspension and speed 42 mph in a 25 zone.

* Jennifer E. Ludlow, 42, Belpre, was arrested for operating motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and speed 47 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports June 24:

June 17

* David Hastings Jr., 23, Williamstown, was cited for possession of marijuana on Poplar Avenue.

* Alicha Hemphrey, 34, of Vienna, was cited for speeding, 40 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

June 18

* Chad Burke, 41, Waverly, was cited for a stop sign violation on West Eighth Street at Henderson Avenue.

* Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute in the 400 block of Poplar Avenue. The male party reportedly left prior to officers arriving. Domestic violence assistance information provided.

June 19

* Alex Emerick, 28. Parkersburg, was cited for speeding, 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* Officers responded to a domestic dispute involving a reportedly disorderly juvenile in the 100 block of East Fifth Street. Legal options advised.

June 20

* Samantha Kuhn, 28, Vincent, was cited for shoplifting at the Dollar General on Highland Avenue.

* Hogan Vaughan, 22, Parkersburg, was cited for speeding, 40 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* Amanda Mcmilleon, 38, Long Bottom, was cited for a red light violation on Highland Avenue.

* Ryan Dick, 47, Marietta, was cited for public intoxication in the Beachcomber lot after he was observed passed out in a vehicle. He was released to a sober party.

* Scott Parsons, 47, Marietta, was cited for public intoxication in the Beachcomber lot after he was observed passed out in a vehicle. He was released to a sober party.

June 23

* Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Main Street. Parties were separated.

June 24

* Benny Mikes, 18, Lowell, was cited for left of center and no insurance on West Third Street.
