Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court heard the following cases on April 16.

* Jasmine Anthonia Graves, 19, 920 Eutaw Place, Huntington, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, and is being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $200,000 surety bond.

* Ahmad Marques Moore, 20, 1419 Tonawanna Ave., Akron, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, and is being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $200,000 surety bond.

* Charles Lee Trippett, 56, P.O. Box 63, Elizabeth, was dismissed in magistrate court on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods so the state can recharge him with a felony charge.

* David Wayne Calrider, 62, 3623 Packard St., Apartment 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI, expired registration, no insurance and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. He was being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $4,000 surety bond.

* Casey George Reed, 22, 1503 B Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Adam Sams, 36, 409 C, 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Johnathan Michael Hess, 31, 925 Wiley St., Belpre, was arraigned on two charges of uttering and two charges of forgery. He was being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Megan Anne Abrahamson, 28, 4400 Grand Central Ave., Apartment 37, Vienna, was arraigned for fraudulent use of an access device and was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Thomas Gale Little, 29, 1407 Station Drive, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines and ordered to pay a $90.78 civil penalty to the victim.

* James Boston Jr., 49, 1103 Jackson Ave., Apartment 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired and making false statements to an officer. He was assessed $545.50 in court costs and fines.

* Jarron Nathaniel Farnsworth, 31, 803 West Fourth St., Williamstown, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and driving while suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to 120 days of unsupervised probation and assessed $440.50 in court costs and fines.

* Cory Cox, 29, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended or revoked and driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was sentenced to 30 days at the North Central Regional Jail and assessed $520.50 in court costs and fines.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports on April 16.

April 12

* Jeffrey Lucas, 41, of Davisville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

* Katelyne Gates, 28, of Mineral Wells, was arrested on a warrant for shoplifting.

* April Trippett, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested for fleeing from officer.

* Ashley Carpenter, 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested for obstructing an officer.

* Richard Carter, 29, of Parkersburg, was arrested for assault of an officer, fleeing in vehicle and obstructing an officer.

* David Carpenter, 24, of Parkersburg, was arrested for fleeing in vehicle and assault of an officer.

* Charles Trippett, 56, of Parkersburg, was arrested for burglary.

* April Trippett, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested for petit larceny and breaking and entering.

* Officers responded to Worthington Ball Fields in reference to a breaking and entering that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Seventh Street in reference to a petit larceny.

April 13

* Jacob Williams, 23, of Parkersburg, was arrested for unlawful assault.

* Earnest Barker, 43, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a capias for failure to appear.

* Collen Lewis, 26, of Alexandria, Va., was arrested for destruction of property.

* Ashley Lockhart, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for protection order violation.

* Officers responded to 32nd Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.

* Officers responded to Camden Avenue in reference to a petit larceny that already occurred.

April 14

* Dane Mason, 40, of Parkersburg was arrested for obstructing and disorderly conduct.

* Amanda Beck, 37, no town listed, was arrested on a capias for failure to appear.

* David Caltrider, 62, of Parkersburg, was arrested for a prohibited person with a firearm, no insurance, expired registration and DUI.

* Officers responded to Fairview Avenue in reference to a destruction of property.

* Officers responded to Walmart and cited Elizabeth Thornburg for shoplifting.

* Officers responded to Walmart and cited Samantha Winland for shoplifting.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — Williamstown Police Department released the following reports April 15.

April 10

* Mary Huskey, 33, Parkersburg, was cited for possession of controlled substances on Highland Avenue.

April 12

* Jeffery Anderson, 52, Fleming, was cited for cell phone use while driving on Highland Avenue.

April 13

* Jessica Brantmeier, 23, Marietta, was cited for speed 43/25 and driving on a suspended license on Highland Avenue.

* Ashton Linger, 18, Waterford, was cited for speed 61/45 on Rt. 14.

* Joseph Beaumier, 18, Waverly, was cited for improper registration on Highland Avenue.

April 14

* Brett S. Edwards, 20, Marietta, was arrested on a warrant charging him with driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on Caroline Avenue. Edwards was cited for second offense driving on a suspended license as well. Edwards was placed in the West Virginia Department of Corrections pending his arraignment at Wood County Magistrate Court. Edwards was later arraigned and released after posting $3,500 bond.
