Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases recently appeared in Wood County Circuite Court:

* Paul Allen Roberts, 58, in custody, was found not competent to stand trial in the Wood County Circuit Court on March 15. The evaluation showed that he may regain competence after six months of treatment, and he was committed to Sharpe for three months, which would be extended if needed.

* Kevin Matthew Hess, 31, in custody, was arraigned Monday on charges of burglary, breaking and entering, breaking and entering an automobile and petit larceny and his trial was set for May 7.

* James Dwayne Davis, 24, in custody, was arraigned Monday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of keeping or maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of a controlled substance and his trial was set for May 29.

* Andre Allen Stampley, 24, of Clinton Township, Mich., was arraigned Monday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and his trial was set for May 29.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports March 18:

* Branden Keith Rash, 37, of 3622 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing with reckless indifference and released on a $7,500 bond.

* Eric Craig Ruble, 38, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and bond was set at $1,500 surety.

* Tyler Michael Ludwig, 30, of 400 Walnut Grove, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of first-offense driving under the influence and released on a $500 bond.

* Gary Thomas Hall, 23, of 480 Egypt Run Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and obstructing and released on a $600 bond.

* Rose Marie Davis, 33, of 489 Ruble Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond, but held on a $200,000 bond for separate charges.

* Bilal Malieke Lyles, 26, of 132 Snowhill Drive, Charleston, was arraigned on charges of obstructing and trespassing and bond was set at $750.

* Samantha Jo Thompson, 32, of Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Matthew Paul Miller, 36, of Elizabeth, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of strangulation and prohibited person in possession of a firearm and released on a $4,0000 bond.

* Alex Jackson Handschumacher, 40, of 113 Dayton Road, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of unlawful exchange or refund of merchandise and petit larceny and released on a $1,100 bond.

* David Elwood Chaney, 40, of 3211 Elm St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and bond was set at $500.

* Rick Shawn Willis, 40, of 1100 Laird Ave., Parkersburg. was arraigned on a charge of first-offense DUI and released on a $500 bond.

* Rachel Marie Turner, 27, of 95 Sandhill Road, Apt. 4, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of first-offense shoplifting and obstruction and bond was set at $1,000.

* Ralph Edward Jones, 28, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense domestic battery and released on a $500 bond.

* Brett Keith States, 23, of 3436 Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of aggravated DUI, battery and petit larceny and released on a $1,500 bond.

* Ricky Alan Lockhart, 45, of 2700 Emerson Ave., Apt. 305, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was released on $500 bond.

* Thomas G. Little Jr., 29, of 1407 Station Drive, St. Marys, was arraigned on a failure to appear charge and released on $1,000 bond.

* Jeromee Todd Donaway, 30, of 4211 Packard St., Parkersburg, had probable cause found on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and prohibited person with a firearm and the cases were bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Erin Nichole Duvall, 20, of 527 Ellis Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed after successfully completing a diversion program.

* Megan Beth Bailey, 40, of 94 Arbor Lane, Apt. 3, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to sale of beer to someone under 21 and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court costs.

* Cathy Lynn Null, 57, of 133 Rail Trail Lane, Davisville, pleaded no contest to sale of beer to someone under 21 and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court costs.

* David Eugene McNeill, 50, of 500 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired motor vehicle inspection, no insurance and two counts of driving under suspension and was released on $4,000 bond.

* Rodney Allen Jones II, 30, of 3612 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of third-offense driving under suspension and was released on $3,000 bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports March 18:

* On March 14. Joseph E. Showalter, 50, of State Route 147, Bethesda, Ohio, was issued a citation for no seat belt.

* On March 14, Michelle I. Hess, 50, of 10th Avenue, was issued a citation for no seat belt.

* On March 15. Kurt R. Medley, 42, of Rauch Drive, Marietta, was issued a citation for passing on the right.

* On March 15, Rose Marie Davis, 34, of Ruble Run Road, was arrested on a warrant for obstructing an officer.

* On March 15, Susan Jeanette Taggart, 38, of Plum Run Road, Williamstown, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and shoplifting.

* On March 16, Brett Keith States, 23, of Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and two warrants issued through the Parkersburg Police Department for petit larceny and battery.

* On March 16, Michael J. Goodwin, 47, of Bickel Mansion Drive, was issued a citation for no insurance and no registration.

* On March 16, Robert Daniel Pennell III, 36, of Forest Drive, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.

* On March 17, Christian Alexander Coss, 24, of Shiloh Road, Waverly, was arrested on a capias for failure to maintain control, driver must be licensed, motorcycle license, driving vehicle while in an impaired state and reckless driving.

* On March 17, Gary Thomas Hall, 23, of Egypt Run Road, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and obstructing an officer.

* On March 17, Guy Allen Greynolds, 57, of Mill Run Road, was issued a citation for no proof of insurance.

* On March 17, Christopher Edward Byrd, 30, of Belrock Avenue, Belpre, was issued a citation for driving on suspended/revoked.

* On March 17, Cassandra Jo McCarty, 27, of Wildwood Drive, was issued citations for no operators, no insurance, no registration and no motor vehicle inspection.

* On March 18, Thomas Gale Little Jr., 29, of Station Drive, St. Marys, was arrested on a capias for failure to appear.
