Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports on Sept. 6;

• John Huffman,49, 615 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting, public intoxication, obstruction, trespassing and failure to render information. He was assessed $520.75 in court costs and fines plus a $50 civil penalty to the victim and served five days in jail.

• Ricky Cline, 19, 2926 Meadville Road, Davisville, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, marijuana, and no operator’s; dismissed with a plea agreement were charges of no insurance, improper registration and fraudulent motor vehicle inspection. Cline was sentenced to six months probation and assessed $340.50 in court costs and fees.

• Justin Caleb Vincent, 35, 2376 Seminary Road, Coolville, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction. In a plea agreement a charge of trespassing was dismissed. He was assessed $210.25 and sentenced to one year probation.

• Terence Stokes, 30, 410 County Road 212, Shubuta, Miss., was arraigned on charges of no operator’s and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; he was assessed $420.50 in court costs and fees.

• Leroy Edward Pudder, 47,1314 Spring St. Apartment 7, Parkersburg, was arraigned on the violation of a protective order; he was assessed $410.25 and court costs and fees and served 11 days in jail.

• Matthew Windland, 35, 4104 16th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny; he was assessed $245.25 in court costs and fines and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

• James Bird, 35, 1127 and a half Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting; he was assessed $420.50 and court costs and fines, plus $176 in civil penalty to the victim.

• Jason Marchuk, 31, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and battery; he was sentenced to 10 days in jail and probation for one year. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

• The case of Adam Scott Massey, 35, was dismissed on a charge of domestic assault without prejudice after he pleaded guilty to a charge of public intoxication.

He was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.

• Kristi Nicole Whitehead, 22, 331 Franklin St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of driving while revoked for a DUI, no insurance and improper registration. She was assessed $430.50 in court costs and fines.

• Patrick Dave Medley, 36, 39892 Silver Ridge Road, Reedsville, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of battery. He was assessed $180.25 and released on a $500 surety bond.

• Michael Hatch, 24, 298 Piggot Place, Munday, W.Va., pleaded guilty to two counts of driving with a revoked license and no insurance. As part of a plea agreement, dismissed were one count of driving with a revoked license, improper registration, no motor vehicle inspection, possession of a controlled substance and obstruction. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 68 days, and assessed $880.75 in court costs and fines.

• David Leroy Foster, 27, 126 Lorentz Ave., Morgantown, pleaded guilty as part of a plea agreement to fleeing from an officer and dismissed as part of a plea agreement was the charge of fraudulent schemes. He was assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines and served six days in jail.

• Andrew Leroy Knopp, 24, 3604 Willard St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on the charge of a DUI, third offense and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

• Kyle Andrew Bishop, 22, pleaded guilty to obstruction and dismissed as part of a plea agreement was a charge of public intoxication. He served five days in jail and was assessed $160.25 in court costs and fines.
