Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Sept. 24:

* David Wayne White, 63, of 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense public intoxication, second-offense trespassing and disorderly conduct and bond was set at $1,000 surety.

* Michael Vincent Hambrick, 42, of Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Nicholas Wade Carroll, 27, of 1202 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, public intoxication and no insurance and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Rachael Bernice Campbell, 34, of 5380 Johnson Ridge Road, Waterford, was arraigned on two counts of trespassing and one count each of obstructing and shoplifting and bond was set at $1,500.

* Richard Brock Heffelfinger, 28, of 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Brandy Kay Griswold, 37, of 1594 Michaelis Road, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of first-offense driving under the influence, no insurance and no operator’s license and released on $1,500 surety bond.

* Patricia Danyelle Conley, 44, of Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Amanda Renee Martinez, 32, of 1305 Wilbur St., Apt. 13, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Chloe LeAnn Mercer, 22, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,500 surety bond.

* Daniel Scott Matie, 51, of 355 Linden St. NW, Massillon, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of first-offense DUI and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Patrick Michael Knight, 44, of 2024 17th St., Apt. 11, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of burglary and grand larceny and released on $10,000 surety bond.

* Jeremiah Daniel Cross, 25, of 815 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of child neglect creating risk of injury and one count each of cruelty to animals and obstructing and bond was set at $2,000 surety.

* Gary Lee Snyder, 28, of 153 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated DUI and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Joshua D. Runnion, 25, of Parkersburg, had charges of child abuse creating risk of injury and domestic battery dismissed after a representative for the alleged victim declined to prosecute.

* Eden M. Short, 32, of 115 Valley Drive, Marietta, was arraigned on a speeding charge and released on $500 bond.

* Ronald Edward Morris, 71, of 911 29th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to red light violation and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court costs.

* Timothy J. Rexroad, 32, of 114 Valentine Farm Lane, Elizabeth, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension, defective equipment and left of center and was assessed $595.75 in fines and court costs.

* Brandon Philip Roush, 30, of 68 Ross Road, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and bond was set at $2,000.

* James Edward Wallbrown Jr., 29, of 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on an obstruction charge and released on $1,500 bond.

* Brandon Roy Stover, 34, of 1201 Ninth St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Tonda Kay Montgomery, 25, of Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and released on $1,500 bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Sept. 24:

* On Sept. 20, Kaisie Eneke Saunders, 25, of Broad Street, turned herself in on a warrant for obstructing and false reporting of emergency. She was processed and released on bond.

* On Sept. 20, Samuel Allen Modesitt, 22, homeless, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and battery.

* On Sept. 20, a citation was issued to Leslie Dianna Gordon, 23, of Gary Ind., on a no proof of insurance charge.

* On Sept. 21, Charles Andrew Wade, 35, of 36th Street, was arrested on a capias warrant issued through family court for a charge of nonpayment of child support.

* On Sept. 21, Kelly Marie Laughery, 37, of Pike Street, was transported to the holding center for processing of a warrant for obtaining fraudulent benefits. She was released on $2,500 bond.

* On Sept. 21, Daniel S. Matie, 51, of Massillon, Ohio, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

* On Sept. 22, Gary Lee Snyder, 28, of Mineral Park Lane, was arrested on a charges of aggravated DUI.

* On Sept. 22, Rachael Bernice Campbell, 34, of Waterford, was arrested on charges of obstructing, trespassing and shoplifting. She was also served three capias warrants and one warrant for shoplifting.

* On Sept. 23, Michael Vincent Hambrick, 42, of Vienna, and Patricia Danyelle Conley, 44, of Vienna, were arrested on charges of domestic battery.

* On Sept. 23, a citation was issued to Zachary Sean Lucas, 30, of New England Ridge Road, on charges of failure to maintain and leaving the scene.

* On Sept. 23, Tonda Kay Montgomery, 25, of Andrew Street, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery. Auston Gaige Crouch, 23, of Andrew Street, was arrested on warrants for second-offense driving under suspension, fraudulent/improper motor vehicle inspection and obstructing an officer.

* On Sept. 23, Brandon Roy Stover, 33, of Ninth Street, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

* On Sept. 24, Brandon Philip Roush, 30, of Ross Road, was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Sept. 24:

* On Sept. 20, Harold Angus was brought to the Washington County Jail by Deputy A. McConnell on active felony warrants. During the intake process Deputy Brown asked Angus if he had anything illegal on him, and if so he needed to hand the item(s) over so he would not be charged with illegal conveyance. Angus stated he had nothing. While searching Angus’ pants a rolled up roach cigarette and baggie with a green leafy substance in it was located. Angus was asked about the items and he stated it was marijuana, and he knew he had it on him. Harold Dewayne Angus, 41, 4081 Veto Road, Vincent, was charged with illegal conveying into a detention facility, a third-degree felony.

* On Sept. 20, Deputy J McConnell responded to Dunham Square Gas Station, 3876 State Route 339, Belpre, regarding a road rage incident that had occurred earlier near the Blennerhassett Bridge off ramp and U.S. 50. David Walker advised he and his wife came across the Blennerhassett Bridge and were attempting to merge onto U.S. 50 when they were met by Jeremy Snyder, driving on U.S. 50. Walker reports Snyder got in front of them and when they took the exit to State Route 339 and attempted to stop, Snyder abruptly hit his brakes. Walker continued driving on State Route 339 and Snyder continued hitting his brakes, as well as yelling at them out his window. Upon stopping for the red light at the construction area on SR 339, Snyder exited his vehicle and approached Walker’s door and continued yelling at him, and trying to open his door. Walker reports Snyder then turned on McGill Road and he and his wife continued on to the Dunham Square Store. After they entered the business the Walkers observed Snyder enter the business and continue yelling at them. The clerk was asked by Walker to call 911 and she informed Snyder to leave the premises. Jeremy G. Snyder, 39, 3547 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, is being summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of disorderly conduct.

* On Sept. 21, Deputy Schwendeman responded to the Little Hocking Marathon, 17 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, to a report of a male subject asleep in a vehicle at the gas pumps. An odor of marijuana was detected and the occupant, Vincent Alexander Scibana, admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle in the form of a cigarette. A summons is being requested for Scibana, 23, 728 High Street, Bedford, Ohio, for possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.

* On Sept. 21, Deputy Hall responded 27250 State Route 7, Marietta, to a report of a possible overdose. In speaking with Joseph M. Porter he stated he did not report that he had overdosed. Contact was made with Marietta City Probation and a probation violation charge was placed on Porter. Joseph Michael Porter, 22, was placed under arrest for probation violation and disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Sept. 21, Lt. Hunter was dispatched to Barlow Township in reference to numerous mailboxes being damaged in the area. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 22, a complaint was received in reference to a domestic incident between Nina Nelson and her boyfriend, Christofer Shears, at 1219 Twin Bridge Road, Little Hocking, Ohio. Deputy Jones met with Nelson who stated an argument started with Shears earlier in the day. At some point a physical altercation began with Nelson being thrown to the floor and held there. Shears obtained a handgun during this time frame as well. Shears had also slashed Nelson’s tires. Christofer Jeremiah Shears, 31, of Little Hocking, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and using weapons while intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Sept. 22, Deputy Zide observed a Toyota 4Runner driving after dusk without headlights. The driver of the vehicle took off speeding up and turned down a side road. A traffic stop was made a short time later and contact was made with Emma R. Muir, 22, 5098 US Hwy 258, North Tarboro, N.C. Muir was asked why she tried to flee and she stated she was scared because her license was suspended, which was confirmed through dispatch. K9 Rita gave a positive indication and upon Muir exiting the vehicle was observed stuffing item(s) down her pants. When asked, Muir pulled out two buds of marijuana. Deputy Zide advised Muir that she would be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on charges of possession of drugs and driving under suspension.

* On Sept. 22, Deputy Schwendeman and Sgt. Brad Holbert responded to 1466 Cave Hill Road, Little Hocking, reference to a 911 call from Cassandra Adams. Adams reported her boyfriend, Eric D. Yoho, was acting odd and scaring the children. Dispatch had also lost contact with Adams and it was discovered that Yoho had pulled the phone cord out of the wall. Deputy Schwendeman met with Yoho who stated he was trying to fix his car so he could leave. Yoho denied any sort of altercation with Adams. After completing interviews with all parties involved deputies informed Eric David Yoho, 31, that he was being placed under arrest. Yoho at that point became argumentative and attempted to flee. A physical struggle ensued at which time deputies were able to gain control of Yoho. Yoho continued resisting deputies and at one point elbowed Deputy Schwendeman in the head. While walking Yoho to the patrol vehicle he again tried to flee and was tackled to the ground by deputies. Yoho was charged with two counts assault on a peace officer, escape, disrupting public service, domestic violence and resisting arrest. Yoho was taken to the Washington County Jail for processing.

* On Sept. 22, Deputy Schwendeman responded to 8045 State Route 555, Cutler, Ohio. It was reported that Cody Galloway was acting disorderly at that location and was possible under the influence of something. Deputy Schwendeman and Sgt. Holbert met with Galloway who admitted to smoking something the previous date. Cody Allen Galloway, 21, was placed under arrest for probation violation and disorderly conduct.

* On Sept. 23, Deputy Zide and Lt. Gherke responded to 100 King Avenue, Cutler, in responded to a report of a verbal altercation with Robert C. Ruble and his mother and father. Upon arrival Ruble appeared intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The Rubles did not wish Robert to stay at the home. Robert Charles Ruble, 24, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Sept. 23, Deputy Schwendeman began an investigation regarding an abandoned home being entered and items removed. This case remains under investigation.

* On Sept. 23, Deputy Zide began an investigation regarding a vehicle being removed from Caywood Road, Marietta, Ohio, and found wrecked. This case remains under investigation.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday:

* Joseph Michael Porter, 22, 27250 SR 7, Marietta, OH, for probation violation and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

* Vincent Edward Roberts, 37, 1920 Roberts Road, Amesville, Ohio, on a warrant for OVI alcohol, a misdemeanor.

* Kyle James Palmer, 32, 1090 Bethel Road, Marietta, for rape, gross sexual imposition and sexual battery, all felonies.

* Frederick Lee Schwaben Jr., 42, P.O. Box 363, New Matamoras, on a warrant for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.

* Cody Allen Galloway, 21, 8045 SR. 555, Cutler, for probation violation and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

* Randall Gale Nichols, 33, of Portland, Ohio, on a warrant for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

* Eric David Yoho, 31, of Little Hocking, for two counts of assault of a peace officer, escape and disrupting public service, all felonies, and domestic violence and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

* Christofer Jeremiah Shears, 31, of Little Hocking, for domestic violence and using weapons while intoxicated, both misdemeanors.

* Jennifer Irene Landolfi, 45, Rt. 1, Box 190A, Newport, for assault of a police officer, a felony, and disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, both misdemeanors.

* Amanda Lynn Augenstein, 34, 980 Caywood Road, Marietta, for two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors.

* Robert Charles Ruble, 24, 100 King Avenue, Cutler, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Athens Sheriff

ATHENS, Ohio — The Athens County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Sept. 24:

* On Sept. 21, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office took a report regarding a resident who advised he could not locate his firearm. The complainant stated he recently moved and is not sure if the firearm was lost in the move or if it had been stolen. A report was taken and the firearm was entered into NCIC.

* On Sept. 21, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Gibson, 25, at Athens County Municipal Court. Gibson had multiple active felony warrants. He was transported to Athens Common Pleas Court without incident.

* On Sept. 21, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on State Route 78, Glouster, on a report of a theft of a wheel from a utility trailer. A report was filed.

* On Sept. 21, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a male customer at The Plains Valero who was being argumentative and confrontational with the attendant. Upon arrival of deputies, the male was observed striking a female in the parking lot and detained. The male and his wife advised they were angry because their gas vouchers had been denied and not returned to them. Both the male and his wife were served trespass complaints, warning them not to return to the Valero. The female declined to file charges so no further action was needed.

* On Sept. 21, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from a male who advised he had a ring stolen sometime that day. The complainant was unable to give a description of the ring, and no suspects were identified. This case will be closed pending further investigatory information.

* On Sept. 22, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office went to an address on State Route 685 while investigating a theft complaint to make contact with a suspect with active warrants. Deputies did locate the male, Bryan Parsons, 49, of Glouster, and transported him to the Sheriff’s Office for an interview. He was later transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail for three outstanding warrants.

* On Sept. 22, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office responded to New Marshfield for a domestic dispute. The caller advised his adult son had punched holes in his walls while the two were arguing. On scene, deputies were advised that the son left on foot prior to their arrival. The father did not wish to press charges. He advised the son did not live at the residence and wished to make a trespass complaint, so he would not return. A trespass complaint was completed pending contact with the son so he could be served. No additional action requested.

* On Sept. 22, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident of Coolville who advised a weed eater was stolen from their building. A report was filed.

* On Sept. 23, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office received a report of items being taken from a vehicle parked in The Plains Dollar General parking lot. Some of the personal items were recovered a short time later scattered along the roadway in The Plains. This matter is currently under investigation.

* On Sept. 23, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle being damaged and items removed from the vehicle at a residence outside The Plains. Deputies completed a report at that time. This matter is currently under investigation.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports Sept. 24:

Sept. 19

* Leanna Lockhart, 25, of Williamstown, was cited on charges of failure to obey traffic control device on Poplar Avenue at West Third Street.

Sept. 20

* Alyssa Huntsman, 20, of Fleming, was cited on a charge of speeding, 41 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* A 17 year old juvenile male from Senecaville, Ohio, was cited on a charge of speeding, 40 mph in a 25 mph zone, and no seat belt on Highland Avenue.

Sept. 21

* Brandon Petty, 3, of Marietta, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and driving on a suspended license on the lot of Go Mart off of Highland Avenue.

* David Hastings Jr., 22, of Williamstown, was cited on charges of possession of marijuana and no seat belt on West Fifth Street.

* Jennifer Conway, 46, of Davisville, was cited on a charge of speeding, 61 mph in a 45 mph zone, on West Third Street.

Sept. 22

* Joshua Rinard, 36, of Marietta, was cited on a charge of speeding, 59 mph in a 35 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* Tammy Livengood, 53, of Hudson, Mass., was cited on a charge of speeding, 62 mph in a 45 mph zone, on W.Va. 14.

* Chase Statler, 19, of Marietta, was cited on a charge of speeding, 39 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.

* James R. Dowler, 39, of Parkersburg, was cited on charges of driving on a suspended license and expired registration on West Third Street.

Sept. 23

* Kira J. Witty, 19, of Waverly, was cited on charges of stop sign violation and possession of controlled substances on Highland Avenue.

* Jessica Schofield, 27, of Belpre, was cited on a charge of speeding, 42 mph in a 25 mph zone, on Highland Avenue.
