Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG –The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on Aug. 28:

* Joshua Alan Thacker, of Belva, W.Va., was previously indicted on three counts of forgery of a public record. On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to one count of forgery of a public record and was sentenced immediately to two to 10 years in prison, to run concurrently with a federal term he is serving.

* Leonard Dale Todd, of Elizabeth, previously pleaded guilty to receiving/transferring stolen vehicle and fleeing from an officer with reckless indifference. On Tuesday, the court deferred his sentence and referred Todd to the Anthony Center. He was remanded to the West Virginia Division of Corrections until an opening becomes available.

* Travis Anthony Fordyce, of Parkersburg, was indicted in May on charges of burglary, destruction of property and conspiracy to commit burglary. On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to a burglary charge and sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 26.

* William L. Dennis, of Parkersburg, was previously indicted on two counts of prohibited person in possession of a firearm. On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to one of the counts and his sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 31.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Aug. 27:

* On Aug. 24, Mark Aaron Ward, 43, of Swann Street, was issued a citation for second-offense shoplifting.

* On Aug. 25, Arley Alan Edwards, 27, of 21st Street, was issued a citation for expired motor vehicle inspection.

* On Aug. 25, Zachary T. Fink, 25, of Spring Street, was issued a citation for driving on suspended/revoked and no proof of insurance.

* On Aug. 25, Ryan Marc Congrove, 24 of Williamstown Pike, was arrested on a felony warrant for threats of terrorist acts.

* On Aug. 26, April A. Ellis, 43, of Meadowbrook Acres, was issued a citation for driving on suspended/revoked and no proof of insurance; Melissa Shroyer, 30, of Meadowbrook Acres, was issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance.

* On Aug. 26, Stephen Daniel Wolfe, 26, of Garrison Lane, was issued a citation for speeding, 63 mph in a 55 mph zone, and third-offense driving on suspended/revoked.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 27:

* On Aug. 19, Deputy Metts began an investigation into a possible menacing incident in Salem Township. This case remains under investigation.

* On Aug. 19, Deputy McConnell began an investigation into a breaking and entering at the Country Side Mini Storage, School House Road, Little Hocking. This case remains under investigation.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday:

* Kenneth Ray Rogers, 31, homeless, domestic violence and theft, misdemeanors, and one count domestic violence, a felony.

* Christopher Neil Mayle, 39, 11722 SR 555, Cutler, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

* Amanda Cheyenne Wigal, 29, 169 Second Lane, Belpre, fictitious plates, illegal use of drug paraphernalia, theft, license suspension, speed, fictitious plates and driving under suspension, all misdemeanors.

* Natasha Marie Salyer, 28, 3569 Veto Road, Vincent, on a warrant for possession of drugs, illegal use of drug paraphernalia, two counts possessing drug abuse instruments, three counts theft, breach of recognizance, and criminal damaging, all misdemeanors.

* Bradley Wayne Morehead, 30, Vienna, domestic violence, and violate protection order, both misdemeanors.

* Justin Daniel Deems, 38, 725 Seventh Street, Marietta,on warrants for driving under suspension, breach of recognizance and failure to appear, all misdemeanors.

* David Andreas Decker, 25, 624 Alan Street, Marietta, on a warrant for two counts of violation of a protection order, both misdemeanors.

* Kevin Michael Groth, 29, 45734 Bigley Ridge Road, Long Bottom, Ohio, on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor.

* William Joseph Mitchell, 33, 833 Second Street, Lot 2, Marietta, on a warrant for theft, breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors, and possession of drugs, a felony.

* Bentley Wayne Ullman, 58, County Home, Marietta, inducing panic, a misdemeanor.

* Eldon Dean Hart Jr., 42, 2701 State Route 83, Beverly, inducing panic, endangering children and possession of drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors.

* Michael David Schilling, 50, Beverly, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

* Wesley James Radabaugh, 27, 1451 Hill Street, Belpre, fugitive from justice, a felony.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Aug. 27:

* This past weekend the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 246 calls for service.

* Gregory Stephens, 59, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 24 on a charge of third-offense domestic battery.

* Robert McFee, 40, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 24 on a charge of third-offense domestic battery.

* Diamonte Thompson, 18, of Vienna, was arrested Aug. 24 on charges of obstructing and disorderly conduct.

* Samuel Veasey, of Flatwoods, W.Va., was arrested Aug. 24 on charges of obstructing, assault and battery.

* Jonathon Cayton, 22, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 25 on a charge of fleeing from an officer.

* Richard Treadway, 42, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 25 on a capias warrant for driving while suspended and fleeing from an officer.

* Kristopher Merry, 32, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 25 on charges of false emergency report and public intoxication.

* Joanne Kimble, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 26 on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

* Nathan Simmons, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 26 on a capias warrant for shoplifting.

* Noah Hitchcock, 33, of Parkersburg, was arrested Aug. 26 on charges of possession of an explosive device without a permit and wanton endangerment.

* On Aug. 24, officers responded to Broadway Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering.

* On Aug. 24, officers responded to Hamilton Street in reference to a stolen registration plate.

* On Aug. 24, officers responded to Dollar General on Dudley Avenue in reference to shoplifting.

* On Aug. 25, officers responded to 32nd Street in reference to a burglary that already occurred.

* On Aug. 25, officers responded to Rural King in reference to shoplifting.

* On Aug. 26, officers responded to Dollar General on Seventh Street in reference to shoplifting.

* On Aug. 26, officers responded to Walmart and cited Albert Starkey for shoplifting.

* On Aug. 26, officers responded to Walmart and cited Kari Caplinger for shoplifting.

* Between Aug. 24-26, officers investigated eight motor vehicle accidents.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports Aug. 27:

Aug. 22

* Cheryln M. Greathouse, 44, of Vienna, was cited on charges of driving on a suspended license, no insurance, expired registration and expired motor vehicle inspection on Highland Avenue.

Aug. 23

* Joshua Eric Mercy, 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a capias warrant from Berkeley County WV family court following a traffic stop. Mercy was confined pending his return to Berkeley County.

* Kira J. Witty, 19, of Waverly, was cited on a charge of speeding, 61 mph in a 45 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* Cesar Garcia, 36, of Vienna, was cited on a charge of speeding, 82 mph in a 45 mph zone, on W.Va. 14.

* Rebecca Hicks, 40, of Parkersburg, was cited on a charge of failure to obtain WV operators license on Highland Avenue.

* Daniel R. Goff, 35, of Parkersburg, was cited on charges of expired motor vehicle inspection and no insurance on Highland Avenue.

Aug. 24

* William S. Ward, 54, of Belpre, was cited on a charge of passing in a no passing zone on Highland Avenue.

* Jeffrey Scott, 62, of Marietta, was cited on a charge of speeding, 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* Scott Daniels, 29, of Parkersburg, was cited on charges of expired registration and no insurance on Henderson Avenue.

* Chris Shackelford, 46, of Williamstown, was arrested on capias warrants after failing to appear on public intoxication and obstructing charges. Shackelford was confined overnight and then released after posting bond.

Aug. 25

* Dakota Allman, 22, of Belpre, was cited for a red light violation on HIghland Avenue.

Aug. 26

* Kelcie Garrett, 23, of Vienna, was cited on a charge of speeding, 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, on West Third Street.

* Amanda J. Fuller, 41, of Vienna, was cited on a charge of driving on a suspended license on Henderson Avenue.

MARIETTA — The following divorces and dissolutions were recently recorded at the Washington County Courthouse:

* Kelly Radabaugh, 26, of Vincent, and Wesley Radabaugh, 27, of Hardinsburg, Ky., were granted a divorce Aug. 22.

* Deanna L. Stewart, 44, and Timothy J. Stewart, 45, both of Marietta, were granted a divorce Aug. 20.

* Deborah L. Snider, 63, of Vincent, and Sheldon L. Snider, 67, of Waterford, were granted a dissolution of marriage on Aug. 17.

* David M. Reynolds, 59, of Belpre, and Michele Welch Reynolds, 49, were granted a dissolution of marriage on Aug. 17.
