PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 20:

* Ricky Lynn Willis, 60, of 1565 Montgomery Hill Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a license revoked for driving under the influence and released on a $3,000 bond.

* Shantel Josephine Leasure, 21, of 609 Lulu St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of battery and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Mark Anthony Toler, 35, of 706 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Debora Dawn McCune, 44, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protection order and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* DeAaron Vayshawn Price, 22, of 132 West Cosier St., Akron, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot, obstructing and possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Jason Lee Hart, 35, of 492 Beach Drive, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Anthony Paul Mohwish II, 45, of 142 North Hills Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Justin Anthony Baker, 30, of 813 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Stephen Michael Wells, 29, of 1613 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, meth, with intent to deliver and bond was set at $20,000 surety.

* Michaela D. Irick, 28, of 1205 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and no proof of insurance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Brianna Nichole Bateman, 30, of 1013 15th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, false statements during a felony investigation and making a false police report and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Sahel Farouq Elbataineh, 53, of 1500 12th St., Apt. 107, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Mitchell Ray Townsend, 29, of 1930 Princeton St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, reporting a false emergency and failure to render information and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Edward Eugene Gibson III, 32, of 1205 Rayon Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing, second-offense shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance, meth, and bond was set at $1,500 surety.

* James Earl Bee, 32, of 1330 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-offense driving on a license suspended for miscellaneous, defective equipment, possession of a controlled substance and violation of a condition of bond. Bond was set at $1,500 surety, but he was held without bond on the bond violation.

* Austin Kyle Root, 24, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,000 surety bond.

* Jerod Scott Williams, 31, of 1326 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of unlawful taking of a vehicle and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Shawn David Jones, 41, 164 Stillwell Road, Walker, was arraigned on a burglary charge and bond was set at $35,000.

* Tiffany Jean Burwell, 32, 109 1/2 Harmar St., Marietta, was arraigned on a burglary charge and bond was set at $35,000.

* David Allen Bayless, 43, 1703 Dewey St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of false information, driving under suspension and defective equipment and bond was set at $5,000.

* Jesse C. Waggoner, 37, 606 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was released on $500 bond.

* David Eugene Rector II, 37, 372 South St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, was sentenced to one year of home confinement and was assessed $215.25 in court costs.

* William Alan Whitlatch, 41, 804 18th St., Vienna, waived a preliminary hearing on a failure to register charge and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Genelle M. Biggle, 28, 2301 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to embezzlement, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for six months probation and was assessed $380.25 in fines, court costs and restitution.

* Taylor Paul McDowell, 34, of Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed at the state’s request.

* Ryan Lee Smith, 25, of Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear.

* Robert Edward Lester, 36, of Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear.

* William Nelson Dunham, 48, 4408 15th Ave., Parkersburg, had a battery charge dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on Aug. 21:

* Edward E. Gibson III, 32, 1205 Rayon Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court costs and $170 in civil penalties. He pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was assessed $305.25 in fines, court costs and restitution. He pleaded guilty to fleeing, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $210.25 in fines and court costs. He pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, was sentenced to time served and was assessed $410.25 in fines and court costs.

* Josefa Dawn Morris, 49, 1103 Wilbur St., Apt. 11, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and credit for time served and was assessed $210.25 in fines and court costs.

* Ricky Anthony Scarffol, 28, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, was sentenced to time served and was assessed $185.25 in fines and court costs.

* Chad Michael Wilson, 32, 2602 26th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was assessed $203.24 in fines, court costs and restitution.

* Michele Romeyn Hill, 44, 2314 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for two years of probation and was assessed $210.25 in fines and court costs.

* Jennifer K. Nuzum, 29, 902 24th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 90 days home confinement on each count to be served concurrently and was assessed $370.50 in fines and court costs.

* James William Rexroad, 24, 219 Woodyard Creek Road, Washington, W.Va., had a charge of passing a bus dismissed due to a stale warrant.

* Ian Scott Gates, 26, 2613 Brooklyn Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and improper turn and was assessed $425.50 in fines and court costs.

* Dana Lee Kelley, 21, 1703 Dewey St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of violation of a protective order, obstructing, possession of a controlled substance and prohibited person in possession of a firearm and was released on $6,000 bond.

* Josen Lee Gregory, 38, 1626 Reed St., Apt. 8, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a counterfeiting charge and bond was set at $10,000

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Aug. 20:

* On Aug. 15, Timothy Wayne Hupp Jr., 25, of 39th Street, was issued a citation for driving on suspended license.

* On Aug. 16, John Patrick Maudlin, 37, of Juliana Street, was served with a felony warrant for embezzlement issued through the Parkersburg Police Department.

* On Aug. 16, Sean Thomas Durnell, 21, of Rayon Drive, was charged with knowingly providing a structure or place for use of controlled substances by others.

* On Aug. 17, Ross Cody-Harley-Spencer Odenwald, 24, of Moonlite Avenue, Kalamazoo Mich., was arrested on charge of first-offense driving under the influence.

* On Aug. 17, Chauncey William Dee Edmonds, 34, of Avery Street, was arrested on warrants for prohibited person possessing a firearm and third-offense driving on suspended license.

* On Aug. 17, James Earl Bee, 32, of Avery Street, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, violation of domestic violence bond, driving on suspended/revoked license and unsafe and improperly equipped vehicles.

* On Aug. 18, April Honey Youst, 37, of 24th Street, Vienna, was issued a citation for littering.

* On Aug. 19, Brianna Nichole Bateman, 31, of 15th Street, was arrested on warrants for obstructing, false statements and false report.

* On Aug. 19, Tara Elizabeth DeMoss, 33, of Poplar Street, Belpre, was issued a citation for expired registration.

* On Aug. 19, John Paul Nichols, 67, of Foot Hill Road, Davisville, was issued a citation for expired motor vehicle inspection and no insurance.

* On Aug. 19, Tara Marie Smith, 46, of DeVaughn Road, Walker, was issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance.

Belpre Police

BELPRE — The Belpre Police Department released the following reports on Aug. 20:

* Aug. 17, Rachel A. Scheiding, 34, Belpre, was cited for speeding, 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, and for not wearing a seat belt.

* Aug. 17, Mark S. Webb, 59, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant from Belmont County, Ohio, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* Aug. 17, Travis E. Jack, 40, Guysville, was arrested for possession of a schedule IV drug and for driving under suspension.

* Aug. 17, Tracey L. Jack, 41, Guysville, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Aug. 17, Ashley N. Tanner, 19, Guysville, was arrested on multiple felony warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail. Warrants include Washington County, failure to appear; Jackson County, Ohio, passing bad checks, Ross County, Ohio; two counts of passing bad checks, Muskingum County, passing bad checks and theft by deception.

* Aug. 18, Matthew A. Benson, 23, Belpre, was cited for driving without a valid license.

* Aug. 18, Eric J. Swihart, 31, Parkersburg, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Belpre Mayor’s Court. Original charges were possessing drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Aug. 18, Evan J. Kissinger, 26, of Millersburg, Pa., was cited for speeding, 70 mph in a 50 mph zone.

* Aug. 18, Sahel F. Elbataineh, 53, Vienna, was cited for driving without a license.

* Aug. 19, Jordan L. McNeely, 26, Parkersburg, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and for having an expired registration.

* Aug. 19, Cory P. Cox, 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
