Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — On May 15 the Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports:

* Gary J. Smith, 53, 118 Forest Hills Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of allowing livestock to run at large and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kendra Habeb, 40, 111 Washington Heights, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Samuel Habeb, 45, 111 Washington Heights, Parkersburg,was arraigned on a charge of truancy and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jennifer N. Winter, 33, 1602 Core Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* James D. Winter, 34, 1602 Core Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Calvin Lane Gibson, 33, 2312 15th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Michael Brandon Kirk, 29, 1632 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, waived preliminary hearings on charges of second-degree robbery or attempted robbery, uttering and grand larceny and was bound over to circuit court.

* Steven Marshall Dye, 56, 1015 32nd St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of first-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons, failure to obey a traffic control device, fraudulent motor vehicle inspection and driving on a suspended or revoked license and was released on a $4,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Richard M. Conant, 33, 2001 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Robert L. Horton Jr., 43, 2405 45th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Jessica M. Ruble, 32, 2355 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, heroin, and is in custody in lieu of a $75,000 cash or surety bond.

* Solomon Roshad Wilburn, 39, 1135 17th St., Huntington, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and is in custody in lieu of a $1,000 surety bond.

* Herbert E. Myles, 28, 3771 Ashton Road, Columbus, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, heroin, and was released on a $75,000 surety bond.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — On May 15 the Washington County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports.

Recently the following subjects were sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:

* Sheldon Dwight Hill, 35, 11827 Ohio 555, Cutler, failure to appear, six months each charge, concurrent, county jail.

* William Junior Toncray, 49, 407 Stone Road, Belpre, possession of drugs, 30 days county jail.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail Monday and Tuesday:

* Thomas William Gaughan, 31, Putnam Place Apartments, Apt. 66, Marietta, for probation violation.

* Mark Allen Bennett, 28, 1455 E. Branch Road, Lowell, for probation violation.

* Logan Lee Sturgill, 25, 6439 N. Ohio 669 N.W., McConnelsville, on a warrant for possession of drugs.

* Richard Scott Adams, 25, 822 Belrock Ave., Apt. 6, Belpre, on a warrant for failure to appear.

* Delbert Gale Newlon, 72, 10775 Ohio 550, Vincent, for abduction, carrying concealed weapon and domestic violence.

* Robert Dale Dalton III, 38, 704 Elm St., Apt. 9, Belpre, for disorderly conduct.

* Felicia Dawn Wallace, 27, 100 Water St., Lowell, Ohio, probation violation.

Athens Sheriff

ATHENS, Ohio — On May 15 the following reports were released by the Athens County Sheriff’s Department:

May 14

* The Athens County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious male just outside of Glouster walking on the roadway. Deputies, assisted by Glouster Police officers, made contact with the male who wearing only underwear at the time. The male had been drinking the prior night and lost his clothing and friends. The male was walking back to his residence in Trimble. He was given a ride to his residence.

* The Athens County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate a male who had threatened suicide. Deputies attempted contact at several locations and made contact with family members who could not locate the male.

* The Athens County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a harassment complaint on South Clinton Street in The Plains. Deputies were advised a female had contacted a 12-year-old’s cell phone, assuming it to have been a woman her husband was cheating on her with. Deputies reviewed the communication sent and then made contact with the female and told her not to contact that number again.

* The Athens County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Salem Road in regard to a dispute. Upon making contact with the caller, he did not wish to pursue any criminal activity, and there were no witnesses to substantiate his claims. The complainant did ask for a ride to The Plains, as he did not feel safe. He was transported to The Plains.

Parkersburg Police

PARKERSBURG — On May 15 the Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports:

May 14

* The Parkersburg Police Department responded to 108 calls for service.

* Julie Hewett, 48, of Parkersburg, was arrested for first-offense domestic battery.

* Andy Hewett, 50, of Parkersburg, was arrested for first-offense domestic battery.

* Officers responded to 12th Street in reference to a vehicle entry.

* Officers responded to 19th Street in reference to a breaking and entering.

* Officers responded to Parkersburg Police Department Headquarters in reference to a fraudulent scheme.

* Officers investigated two motor vehicle accidents.

May 15

* Solomon Wilburn, 38, of Huntington, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

* Richard Conant, 32, of Parkersburg, was arrested for first-offense domestic assault.

* Officers responded to 18th Avenue in reference to a stolen vehicle.

* Officers responded to Summers Street in reference to a stolen four wheeler.
