Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on March 5:

* Brandon Roush, 29, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty Monday to charges of one count each of forgery and driving while impaired with a minor.

He was sentenced to one to 10 years in prison on the forgery charge and one year in prison on the driving charge, to run concurrently. Roush was indicted Jan. 12, 2018, on five counts of forgery, four counts of uttering, one count of driving while impaired with a minor and one count of child neglect creating risk of injury.

* Dennis F. Walters, 38, Charleston, pleaded guilty Monday to an information charging one count of escape. He was sentenced to one year in prison with credit for time served and was assessed court costs.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 5:

* Brandon Michael Petty, 35, 92 Bunner Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a destruction of property charge and was released on $3,000 bond.

* Roger Blaine Carpenter, 51, 1006 East 12th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony charge of third-offense driving under suspension and was released on $5,000 bond.

* William A. Bennett, 32, 1910 20th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony charge of second-offense aggravated driving under the influence and was released on $5,000 bond.

* Carl D. Robison, 24, 235 Johnson Road, Marietta, was arraigned on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was released on $2,500 bond.

* Haley Brooke Queen, 29, 12073 Dupont Road, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of first-offense DUI and released on $1,000 bond.

* Gary Duane Britton, 49, 3105 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and possession of a controlled substance and was released on $1,500 bond.

* Derick Allen Riel, 23, 19 Honeysuckle Road, Davisville, was arraigned on a first-offense DUI charge and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Michael Levi Gainer, 19, 80 Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony charge of wanton endangerment with a firearm and bond was set at $300,000.

* Cameron Joe Wriston, 18, 801 1/2 Front St., Marietta, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on $500 bond.

* Roy William Hornbeck, 44, Parkersburg, as arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and was released on $2,500 bond.

* Christina Dawn Fowler, 42, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Mark Christopher Brown, 29, 2024 17th St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on felony charges of burglary by entering with or without breaking and breaking and entering and was released on $10,000 bond.

* Jamaal A. Stokes, 27, 3410 Floyd St., Ashland, Ky., was arraigned on charges of no operator’s license, possession of a controlled substance, defective equipment and no proof of insurance and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Chad Stephen Jasper, 37, 1617 Pike St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony burglary charge and bond was set at $20,000. He waived a preliminary hearing on a separate burglary charge and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court. He also pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was assessed $785.25 in fines, court costs and restitution.

* Logan Ray Roberts, 23, Elizabeth, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of grand larceny, destruction of property and burglary and the cases were bound over to circuit court.

* Tiffany Jean Burwell, 31, 1709 Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, had charges of false motor vehicle inspection and improper registration dismissed after providing proof of ownership.

* Michael David Haught, 30, Parkersburg, had two counts of domestic battery dismissed after the victim failed to appear.

* Clara Mildred Elliott, 44, Vienna, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed after the victim failed to appear.

* Lexus Marie Adkins, 23, 1716 19th St., Parkersburg, had a possession charge dismissed after the officer failed to appear.

* Elizabeth Ann Loscar, 35, Parkersburg, had a domestic battery charge dismissed after the victim failed to appear.

* Melissa Jean Cook, 41, 1403 12th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on four felony counts of forgery and was released on $4,000 bond.

* Nathaniel David Randolph, 35, 2801 Emerson Ave., Apt. 15, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a felony charge of burning or attempting to burn an insured property and was released on $5,000 bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports March 5:

* On March 1, Ricky Lee Walker, 37, of Dempsie Avenue, was arrested on a warrant for second-offense driving on suspended license, a capias warrant for procuring gas, water and electric and a capias warrant for driving too fast for conditions. He was also charged with a current charge of fleeing from an officer.

* On March 1, Randall Andrew Beatty Jr., 31, of Third Avenue, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant from Athens County, Ohio.

* On March 1, Tkeisha Lynn Jones, 25, of Dickens Drive, was arrested on a capias warrant for obstructing.

* On March 1, Brandon Miles Hanlon, 27, of Haddale Avenue, Wheeling, was arrested on a charge of first-offense driving under the influence.

* On March 2, Terri Alexis Greathouse Tate, 22, of Quincy Street, was arrested on warrants for no operator’s license and defective equipment.

* On March 2, Toney Lee Dickel, 28, of Barnstable Drive, was arrested on a warrant for battery of a government official.

* On March 2, Michelle Marie Curran (Jones), 30, of North Garfield Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, was issued a citation for expired registration.

* On March 2, Haley Brooke Queen, 29, of DuPont Road, was arrested on a charge of first-offense DUI.

* On March 3, Judd Wayne Gorskey, 49, of Awesome Valley Drive, was issued a citation for expired motor vehicle inspection.

* On March 3, Daniel Wayne Thomas, 22, of Drain Road, was issued a citation for no insurance and driving on suspended license.

* On March 3, Tiffany Ann Wilkes, 32, of Youngs Way, was issued a citation for speeding, 95 mph in a 65 mph zone.

* On March 3, Brandon M. Petty, 34, of Bunner Lane, was arrested on a warrant for destruction of property.

* On March 4, Rodger Lee Smith, 39, of Riverview Estates, Belmont, was arrested on a warrant issued through Pleasants County.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — The following warrants were processed March 5 at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

* Justin T. Gibbs, 309 Maple Street, Marietta, for failure to appear. Original charge was safecracking.

* Joshua D. Campbell, 106 Seventh Street, Beverly, for menacing and assault.

* Jennifer D. Science, 127 SR 821 Cambridge Road, Marietta, for probation violation. Original charge was aggravated trafficking.

PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports March 5:

* This past weekend the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 302 calls for service.

* Burl Waggoner, 48, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 1 on a charge of first-offense domestic battery.

* Justin Knopp, 27, of Vienna, was arrested March 2 on a domestic battery charge.

* Gary Britton, 49, of Vienna, was arrested March 3 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

* Derick Riel, 23, of Davisville, was arrested March 3 on a charge of first-offense DUI.

* Roger Carpenter, 51, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 3 on a charge of third-offense driving under suspension.

* Ellen Buck, 31, of Mineral Wells, was arrested March 3 on a capias warrant for intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, trespassing and obstructing.

* William Bennett, 32, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 3 on a charge of second-offense DUI.

* Veronica Forting, 26, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 3 on a charge of second-offense driving under suspension.

* Christina Fowler, 42, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 4 on charges of first-offense domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance.

* Mark Brown, 29, of Parkersburg, was arrested March 4 on warrants for burglary and breaking and entering.

* On March 2, officers responded to 17th Street in reference to a burglary that already occurred.

* On March 2, officers responded to Rural King in reference to shoplifting.

* On March 2, officers responded to Walmart on Pike Street in reference to shoplifting and cited James Valentine.

* On March 3, officers responded to Staunton Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering that already occurred.

* On March 3, officers responded to Avery Street in reference to a destruction of property.

* On March 3, officers responded to Walmart in reference to shoplifting and cited Caleb Robinson.

* On March 4, officers responded to Speedway on Division Street in reference to shoplifting.

* On March 4, officers responded to Spring Street in reference to an auto larceny that already occurred.

* On March 4, officers responded to Avery Street in reference to a destruction of property that already occurred.

* On March 4, officers responded to Walmart on Pike Street in reference to shoplifting and cited Ally Propst.

* Between March 2-4, officers investigated 11 motor vehicle accidents.
