Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG – Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports on May 24.

* Matthew Ronald Foraker, 33, 1003 Campus Drive, Belpre, was arraigned on a shoplifting charge and was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Matthew Gregory Howard, 22, St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Bradley James Arnold, 26, 3628 Stella St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts each of obstructing an officer, battery of a police officer and one count each of disorderly conduct and riding a skateboard on a roadway and was released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Joshua Allen Tanner, 35, Brentwood Lane, Nebo, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of possession of counterfeit money with the intent to utter and was released on a $3,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG — On May 25 the following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court:

* Stephen D. Hescht, 51, 321 Deerwalk Highway, Waverly, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court fees.

* Robert Spencer Griffin, 55, 103 Short St., Wrens, Ga., was arraigned on a charge of aggravated DUI and was released on a $1,000 bond.

* Ishmell Urian Ward, 22, 1049 24th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of possession of less than 15 grams of a controlled substance, marijuana, and one count of burglary and was released on a $6,000 surety bond.

* Cody Lane Newlon, 18, 1187 Ball School Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI, no proof of insurance and no proof of registration and was released on a $1,500 bond.

* Christopher Lee Beach, 37, 112 Oakview Drive, Apt. A, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of contracting without a license and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Anthony Michael Powell, 33, 1403 Beaver St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with intent to deliver and was released on a $250,000 personal recognizance bond with 10 percent cash.

* Joseph William Coffindaffer, 52, 3405 25th St., Apt. 38, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of .15 or less, was sentenced to five hours and 51 minutes served and was assessed $335.25 in fines and court fees.

* Lucas Adam Shank, 36, 205 Tiffany Lane, Elizabeth, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was bound over to circuit court.

* Joseph Allen Sunderman, 40, 135 Whispering Pines Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and was released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Ginny Rebecca Pierce, 39, 1218 Wolf Run Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to two worthless checks and was released on a $400 personal recognizance bond.

Wood Sheriff

PARKERSBURG–On May 24 the Wood County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports:

May 22

* A citation was issued to Austin Tyler Izzo, 21, of 24th Avenue, Parkersburg, for seatbelt violations as he, the driver and the front seat passenger were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the traffic stop.

* A citation was issued to Amelia Ann Walker, 60, of Gamble Run, New Martinsville, for no seatbelt.

* A citation was issued to Edward Madison Hall, 79, of Wells Lock Road, Elizabeth, for no seatbelt.

May 23

* Shavannah Nichole Wallace-Martin, 24, of East Seventh Street, Parkersburg, was arrested on an active warrant for shoplifting issued through the Parkersburg Police Department. She was processed at the holding center, arraigned before a magistrate and released on a personal recognizance bond.

* Citations were issued to Kevin Lee Wilson, 26, of Marie Lane, Parkersburg, for third-offense driving on suspended license and no insurance.

* A citation was issued to Suetaraha Delaina Cavial Wilson, 26, of Marie Lane, Parkersburg, for driving on suspended license and unsafe equipment.

* A citation was issued to Stephen Dale Hescht, 51, of Deerwalk Highway, for public intoxication; he was released to a sober party.

Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN — On May 25, the Williamstown Police Department released the following reports:

May 22

* Nicholas Stephen Hansen, 37, Williamstown, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and obstructing at the Tee-ball fields off Pribble Lane. An off-duty officer observed Hansen displaying signs of intoxication at the ball fields and made contact with Hansen. Upon questioning, Hansen refused to take a breath test and was uncooperative with officers. Hansen was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and released on bond.

* Multiple vandalism complaints were received concerning vehicles and homes being struck with eggs. The incidents remain under investigation.

May 23

* Joshua Allen Tanner, 35, Nebo, W.Va., was arrested on a charge of possession of a counterfeit bill with the intent to utter. The WPD was contacted about a suspect who had attempted to cash in a suspicious $100 bill at the River City Perk. The suspect left the scene prior to officers arrival. Sgt. J.L. Ruble later noticed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description parked at the Sunshine Lodge on Highland Avenue. Contact was made with the suspect and a counterfeit $100 bill was recovered. Tanner was arrested and later arraigned at magistrate court where he was confined in lieu of bail.

May 24

* Jason Kimes, 32, Long Bottom, Ohio, reported a suspect vehicle backed into his vehicle in the parking lot of the Go Mart and fled the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

* Susan Moellendick, 67, Williamstown, reported several tools had been stolen from the garage of her residence on Central Avenue. The amount of tools reported missing was approximately $140. Suspects have been identified and the incident remains under investigation.
