PARKERSBURG — West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union presents WVU Medicine Children’s with a check for $17,459.40 Wednesday on behalf of their members and the participants of the Color Me Fun 5K on May 30 in Parkersburg. “With WVU Medicine breaking ground very soon on a new tower (in Morgantown), support is more important than ever, and we’re happy to be a part of such a vital need in our state,” said Allie Bennett, marketing director at WV Central. The new tower will be equipped with newer technology, better accommodations for families and will serve the needs of sick children in West Virginia for years to come, Bennett said. From left at the 809 Division St. office are Michael Tucker, CEO of WV Central FCU; Julie Wolfe, loan supervisor at WV Central FCU; Lora Edgell, major gifts officer at WVU Medicine Children’s, and Ashley Horbachewski, Children’s Miracle Network director.
