West Virginia’s top Republican women to meet in August
LEWISBURG — Women leaders in the West Virginia Republican Party will participate in a panel discussion at the state party Summer Meeting & Donor Leadership Retreat in August.
They are Delegate Amy Summers, R-Taylor, majority leader in the House of Delegates; Sen. Patricia Rucker of Jefferson County; U.S. Rep. Carol Miller, R-3rd; and Jill Upson, executive director of the Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs.
The panel discussion “West Virginia Republican Women Leading the Charge” will be held 10 a.m. Aug. 24.
The summer meeting and retreat will be held Aug. 23-24 at The Greenbrier Resort in Lewisburg.
“We have strong Republican women leading the charge in West Virginia,” said Melody Potter, chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party. “I am excited for the WVGOP State Committee, our supporters and guests to hear from these smart, strong, Republican women. They are tremendous role models for all West Virginians.”
