Truck driver injured in crash in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG — A truck driver was transported to the hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at 7:23 a.m. Wednesday at Juliana and Fourth streets.

According to Lt. S.L. Bunner, with the Parkersburg Police Department, Chaney Douglas, 56, of Washington, was found to be at fault but not cited after failing to stop at a red light while traveling north on Juliana Street. His Ford F-250 struck a tractor-trailer truck traveling east on Fourth Street, Bunner said.

“Steven Corzine, 58, of Ohio was driving the tractor-trailer, and he was transported to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center for possible injuries,” Bunner said.
