PARKERSBURG — With the warm weather and sunny skies, the community gladly gathered Saturday on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg to enjoy the 10th annual Mid-Ohio Valley Easter Parade.

“This is a fantastic way to celebrate spring and the Easter season,” event founder and chair Kiki Angelos said.

The theme of the parade this year was “Celebrating the 10th Year of the Easter Parade in the Mid-Ohio Valley.”

Participants on many of the floats, which were decorated with Easter eggs, bunnies and crosses, passed out candy for the kids.

“We had many beautiful floats taking part in the parade this year,” said Angelos
