County to get check Monday for IEI fire
Representatives from Wood County on Monday will receive a check for $1.4 million to cover expenses from the Intercontinental Export-Import Plastics fire in October.
The presentation will be made at 2 p.m. Monday in the Governor’s Reception Room at the Capitol. Among those to be present will be the three county commissioners, Mike Hall, chief of staff for Gov., Jim Justice, and Jeff Sandy, secretary of the Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety.
