Chemours Washington Works among sponsors of concert

PARKERSBURG — Chemours Washington Works as an Angel Level donor has provided a $1,000 sponsorship to support the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra-Parkersburg’s “Home For the Holidays” concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium at Blennerhassett Middle School.

The symphony is under the direction of Maestro Grant Cooper. The orchestra’s visit to Parkersburg for this concert was arranged through the efforts of West Virginia Symphony Orchestra-Parkersburg and its board of directors, chaired by Mary Ann Osborne.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra-Parkersburg, formerly known as the Mid-Ohio Valley Symphony Orchestra, is all-volunteer and is financed through sponsorships, scholarships, donations and advertising. The cost of a performance is $26,000.
