One injured in crash on U.S. 33
ATHENS, Ohio — Troopers from the Athens Post of The Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a single vehicle crash that resulted in one injured.
The injury crash occurred on U.S. 33 in Hocking County at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday.
Roy Beougher, 60, of Rockbridge, Ohio, was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway striking the ditch and a right of way fence before entering onto CR 419. His vehicle then continued off the right side of CR 419 striking a ditch, a parked vehicle, and a tree before coming to final rest.
Beougher was transported to Hocking Valley Community Hospital for injuries sustained as a result of the crash. He was later air lifted to Grant Hospital in Columbus.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Hocking County EMS and the Logan Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation.
