Parkersburg man sentenced to prison
MARIETTA — A repeat burglar was sentenced to four years in prison by Washington County Judge Mark Kerenyi Wednesday morning.
Michael P. Hollingsworth, 38, of 1932 Hamilton Road in Parkersburg, entered the guilty plea in connection to the theft of credit cards in Belpre in late October of last year. The burglary charge was a second-degree felony.
Hollingsworth also entered a guilty plea on one count of burglary, a third-degree felony, in connection with a break-in in September 2016 in Little Hocking, and breach of recognizance bond, a fourth-degree felony, in early January. He was sentenced to 24 months in prison on the burglary charge and 12 months for the breach, both terms to be served concurrently with the other sentence.
Hollingsworth was also convicted of breaking and entering in September 2013 and sentenced to a prison term.
