Two arrested on drug charges in Mineral Wells
MINERAL WELLS — Authorities arrested two people Friday after executing a search warrant at a Mineral Wells residence, according to a press release from the Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force.
Brianna Hanspard, of Detroit, Mich., was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (heroin) and was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court where her bond was set at $250,000.
Also arrested was Bryson J. England Jr., 59, of 25 Mineral Park Lane, Mineral Wells, on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession with intent to distribute (heroin), according to the press release. He was awaiting arraignment Saturday and additional charges are pending, the press release said.
On Friday, at approximately 8:30 a.m. members of the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at England’s residence at 25 Mineral Park Lane in Mineral Wells. The warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation by the task force that involved the distribution of controlled substances from the residence. A search of the residence produced suspected heroin, money and other items consistent with the sale and distribution of controlled substances, the press release said.
The Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) is comprised of investigators from the Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Vienna Police Department, Williamstown Police Department and the West Virginia State Police.
