PARKERSBURG — Parkersburg City Councilman Eric Barber was arrested Monday evening on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court, Barber, 38, of 900 13th St., was taking a video at the scene of a separate incident near his house when a family member of a person involved asked him to stop. The complaint says Barber swore in relation to the involved party and continued being disruptive despite being told to stop by police.
