Wood County residents elected to United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia

PARKERSBURG — Two Wood County residents are among the new officers and trustees elected by the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia.

David Ellwood of Wheeling was elected chairman of the board. D. Lyn Dotson of Morgantown was elected vice-chairperson. Ben Vincent of Gassaway was elected treasurer. Jeff Taylor of Hurricane was elected president. Kim Matthews of Huntington was elected vice president. Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball continues to serve as the honorary chairperson.

Five new members of the board of trustees also were elected: Aileen Lee of Charleston, Barbara McDonald of Washington, W.Va., Judy Raines of Bluefield, Ed Sisson of Parkersburg and Kristi Wilkerson of Buckhannon.

The foundation, established in 1974, manages $96 million dollars for United Methodist causes.
