Two sentenced in Wood County Circuit Court
PARKERSBURG — Two hearings took place in Wood County Circuit Court Thursday.
* Brian Allen Allman, 31, in custody, was sentenced after his plea to charges from the January 2017 grand jury. He pleaded guilty to one count of attempted burglary, burglary, grand larceny, two counts each of breaking and entering and petit larceny. He was sentenced to one to 10 years for the breaking and entering charges, one to three years for the attempted burglary with credit for 255 days served, one year for the petit larceny charges, one to 15 years for burglary and one to 10 years for grand larceny.
The charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny are to be served concurrently and the charges of burglary and the two petit larceny charges are to be served concurrently but consecutively to the two breaking and entering and grand larceny charges; the burglary charge is to run consecutively to all counts.
* Chase Reece Watson, 36, 108 Iroquis Drive, Marietta, was sentenced after his guilty plea to charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance, heroin. Judge J.D. Beane sentenced him to 147 days in the regional jail with credit for 147 days served for the DUI and six months for the possession charge suspended for two years probation.
