Washington County partners to hold Coyote trapping, hunting clinic

MARIETTA – Do you hunt coyotes? Want to hunt them but not sure where to start? Thought about trapping but not sure how?

The Washington Soil & Water Conservation District in Marietta and its partners are holding a trapping and coyote hunting clinic June 28 from 4-7 p.m. at the Washington County Fish and Game Club.

Nationally known coyote expert Tom Bechdel will cover coyote hunting/calling techniques. Then the group will head for the field where professional trappers will show how to set water sets for trapping aquatic animals and land sets for catching coyotes and foxes.

There is no cost for the clinic but space is limited so preregistration is required. For more information or to register call the Washington SWCD at 740-373-4857.
