Authorities seek break-in suspect

PARKERSBURG – An unknown suspect broke into the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport Authority offices early Monday morning, officials said.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering that happened between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 12:30 a.m. Monday at the airport off West Virginia 31, said Chief Deputy Shawn Graham with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.

A white male suspect entered the airport terminal and broke into the Airport Authority Office by going through a drop ceiling, Graham said. Several items were stolen, but details of the items were not provided on Monday evening.
