Parole granted for defendant

PARKERSBURG – Parole was granted Thursday for a Wood County man who was serving a home confinement sentence.

Raymond J. Munson, 29, 1002 Olive St., Parkersburg, was granted a petition for parole by Wood County Circuit Court Judge Robert Waters that will suspend his sentence of one to five years with credit for 431 days served and his release from home confinement. He was sentenced on Feb. 8, 2013 after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver as charged by the September 2012 grand jury.

In hearings from Wednesday:

* Tonda Denean Warner, 50, 8713 16th St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, entered a plea agreement to plead guilty to three counts each of forgery and uttering. As part of the agreement the remaining 38 counts from the September 2011 grand jury and eight bound over cases will be dismissed. Waters set her sentencing for 3:30 p.m. May 12.

* Brandon Matthew Anderson, 34, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, waived extradition back to Augusta County, Virginia, in a hearing before Waters. He will be delivered to Virginia upon the disposition of West Virginia charges.
