S.P.O.T. Clinic event scheduled

PARKERSBURG – The Humane Society of Parkersburg will hold a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. today for its new S.P.O.T. Clinic at 506 29th St.

The Stopping Pet Over population Together Clinic has been planned for years with construction recently completed.

Among speakers will be Carrie Roe, president of the humane society board of directors, and Karen Katchur, the chairman of fundraising for the S.P.O.T Committee, Executive Director Maryann Hollis said. Hollis will introduce staff and John Coffman of Phoenix Associates, the construction company, has been invited.

Also invited were the major contributors of the project.

Clinic staff will give tours of the facility, Hollis said.
