Vienna police arrest man after months of searching
VIENNA – Vienna Police Department arrested a Parkersburg man Sunday night who has been wanted by police for several months, officials said.
Larry Paul Gross, 33, of 903 Pike St. was the Parkersburg Police Department’s “Warrant of the Week” on May 22 and Feb. 28 of this year, police said.
He was wanted on charges of failure to appear, shoplifting and felony grand larceny. Gross was indicted on Dec. 21 by a Wood County grand jury for allegedly stealing copper from Frontier Communications in December 2011.
He was also wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 15 for his shoplifting charge, officials said.
