Passenger hurt falling from cycle
ATHENS, Ohio – A Guysville man suffered incapacitating injuries after falling off of a motorcycle on Ohio 144 in Athens County.
The Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that occurred at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Eric E. Robinson, 35, of Guysville, was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Ohio 144 when his passenger, Larry Robinson, 58, of Guysville, fell from the vehicle.
Larry Robinson was transported to O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens by Athens EMS, officials said. According to police, the driver entered a left curve at 35 mph causing the passenger to fall from the motorcycle.
Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
