Evans sought for theft, stolen card use

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department is looking for a man wanted for grand larceny and fraudulent use of an access device.

The Warrant of the Week is Nathan Duane Evans, 39, 1133 Market St., Parkersburg, who is accused of removing a purse from a vehicle on May 1 in the 1000 block of Market Street, police spokesman Sgt. Greg Collins said. The purse contained jewelry and pre-paid gift cards with losses totaling $9,385, he said.

Evans used a stolen pre-paid VISA incentive card on May 1 at 7-Eleven on Avery Street where the purchase was $138.55, Collins said.
