Washington Sheriff’s Office arrests escapee
MARIETTA – The man wanted for escaping the home confinement department of the Wood County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Tuesday morning in Washington County.
Charles Wade of Parkersburg was arrested after a traffic stop was conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. Wood County officials were searching for him since he escaped Sunday, police said.
Wade was on home confinement on charges of brandishing a weapon, shoplifting and petit larceny.
