Robbery suspect enters plea deal
PARKERSBURG – One of four people indicted in connection with the January robbery of a Liberty Street residence entered a plea agreement in Wood County Circuit Court on Friday.
Dustin Ray Kinney, 21, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, entered a plea agreement to plead guilty to a charge of burglary as charged by a special session of the grand jury on March 7, 2013.
A motion for probation or home confinement was taken under advisement. Wood County Circuit Judge Robert Waters set sentencing for 1 p.m. July 17. A motion to reduce his bond from $60,000 was denied.
Kinney was indicted with Casey Hornbeck, Brian Scott Hornbeck and Thomas Underwood in connection with the robbery of a residence at 3824 Liberty St., Parkersburg. They were indicted on charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, unlawful entry and conspiracy to commit unlawful entry, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
In other hearings:
* Sandra Anne Kieper, also known as Sandra J. Kieper, 52, and Christina Michelle Kieper, 22, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, were arraigned on an indictment from the September 2011 grand jury charging them with fraudulent use of an access device.
Sandra Kieper was charged with one count and Christina Kieper was charged with three counts. Their trial was tentatively set for June 11 before Judge J.D. Beane.
