Manchin staffers traveling across state

PARKERSBURG – Staff from U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., will make 95 visits in all 55 counties beginning May 20 for the fifth Commonsense Connections Week.

Three sessions are planned May 21 in Wood County.

Representatives will meet with residents to discuss priorities and concerns and to gather their opinions.

The local schedule is:

Calhoun County: 1-2 p.m. May 22, Calhoun County Public Library, 250 Mill St. North, Grantsville.

Doddridge County: 10-11 a.m. May 24, Doddridge County Courthouse, 118 East Court St., West Union; 11:30-1 p.m. May 24, Doddridge County Senior Center, 403 West Main St., West Union.

Gilmer County: 3-4 p.m. May 20, Gilmer County Courthouse, 10 Howard St., Glenville; 5:30-6:30 p.m. May 20, Gilmer County Library, 214 Walnut St., Glenville.

Jackson County: 2-3 p.m. May 23, Ripley Town Council Chambers, 203 South Church St., Ripley; 6-7 p.m. May 23, Gino’s, 201 Washington St., Ravenswood.

Pleasants County: 6-7 p.m. May 20, Pleasants County Public Library, 101 Lafayette St., St. Marys.

Ritchie County: 10-11 a.m. May 22, Pennsboro Branch Library, 411 Main St., Pennsboro; 4-5 p.m. May 22, Harrisville Town Hall, East Main Street, Harrisville.

Roane County: 11-noon May 23, Roane County Library, 110 Parking Plaza, Spencer.
