Logston wanted on battery, burglary charges

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department is looking for a man wanted for felony domestic battery and burglary.

A criminal complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court alleges that on April 27, Logston made an unwanted entry into a 25th Street home, physically abusing a female for four hours, Sgt. Greg Collins, police spokesman, said. The abuse included hitting her with a belt and baseball bat and choking her until she passed out, Collins said.

The allegations of the victim were supported by injuries to her body and the locating of the listed items used to abuse her, he said.

Logston has three prior domestic battery convictions on Feb. 12, 2009, Sept. 27, 2011, and April 27, 2012, Collins said.
