Circuit court hears revocations
PARKERSBURG – Four revocation cases were heard Friday in Wood County Circuit Court.
* Joshua Howard Hedges, 34, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was denied a motion to go back to probation after he admitted to the allegations in the petition to revoke his probation. Judge J.D. Beane remanded him to custody to complete his sentence with credit for time served. He pleaded guilty to one of three counts of domestic battery as charged by the May 2011 grand jury.
* George Nicholas Parsons, 38, 304 Deerwalk Highway, Waverly, was sentenced after he admitted to the allegation in the petition to revoke his home confinement. He was remanded to custody by Beane to serve the remainder of his sentence of one to three years. He was placed on home confinement to serve his sentence for third-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI.
* Kelly Buttermore, 38, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was readmitted to probation by Beane with the condition of home confinement after admitting to the allegation to revoke her probation. She was sentenced to home confinement after pleading guilty to an embezzlement charge.
* Christopher Lee Nelson, 37, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was set for a final hearing to revoke his home confinement at 10 a.m. March 8 before Beane.
