Public meeting set for March 19
PARKERSBURG – A public meeting to discuss proposed hunting, trapping and fishing regulations in West Virginia will be held from 6-8 p.m. March 19 at the municipal building in Parkersburg.
The Division of Natural Resources will hold 12 meetings March 18 and 19 to provide hunters, trappers, anglers, landowners and other interested parties an opportunity to review and comment on proposed 2013 hunting regulations for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, black bear and boar, proposed 2014-2015 general hunting and trapping regulations, proposed amphibian and reptile regulations and proposed 2014 fishing regulations.
Written comments on the proposed regulations are encouraged and the deadline is April 5.
Another meeting in the region will be held from 6-8 p.m. March 18 in Harrisville at the 4-H Camp.
