Circuit court hears three cases

PARKERSBURG – Three hearings took place Tuesday in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Sammi Leigh Lyons Hendershot, 25, P.O. Box 265, Elizabeth, was sentenced after her earlier plea to a charge of fraudulent use of an access device. A motion for probation or less than one year in prison was denied by Judge Robert Waters; however, further sentencing was deferred so she can go to a 60-day diagnostic unit.

* Douglas Scott Henthrone, 48, 476 Happy Valley Road, Parkersburg, was sentenced after his final hearing to revoke his parole. Waters sentenced him to compete his sentence of one to 10 years in prison with credit for 428 days served. On Feb. 3, 2012 he was sentenced to one to 10 years in prison with credit for 130 days served after pleading guilty to a charge of breaking without entering. He is to have substance abuse treatment before he is released.

* Travis Eugene Vincent, 27, 1016 19th St., Apt. B, Parkersburg, admitted the allegations in the petition to revoke his home confinement. Waters granted a motion to return Vincent to home confinement with GPS.
