Authorities seeking Walters, McGuirk

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department is looking for a man wanted for trafficking drugs.

For the Warrant of the Week, the department is looking for James Rodney Walters, aka R.J. Walters, 30, 520 Stroehman St., Parkersburg, on three separate drug charges, Sgt. Greg Collins said.

On Jan. 22, Walters failed to appear in Wood County Magistrate Court on a felony charge of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, Collins said.

Walters also was indicted in January by the grand jury in Wood County on felony charges of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab and conspiracy to operate or attempt to operate a clandestine drug lab, Collins said.

Also featured in the Warrant of the Week, the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is looking for Terrence Joseph McGuirk, 43, 2717 1/2 Bird St., Parkersburg, for a felony bond revocation, Collins said.

McGuirk was indicted in May by the grand jury on three counts of possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver. McGuirk failed to return to court for trial proceedings during the last week of January, Collins said.
