Parkersburg police seeking three people

PARKERSBURG – The Parkersburg Police Department released its Warrants of the Week on Wednesday.

Detectives continue to look for Stephen D. Kent, 41, 8081/2 Lynn St., for seven felony counts of possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Kent is believed to be in Wood or Jackson counties, police spokesman Sgt. Greg Collins said.

Police also are looking for Larry Paul Gross, 43, 2312 36th St., for failing to appear in Wood County Circuit Court on Dec. 21 on the felony charge of grand larceny. Gross is a co-defendant in the December 2011 theft of a substantial amount of copper from Frontier Communications.

James Russell Anderson, also known as Jimmy Anderson, 20, 1004 Charles St., is wanted on a warrant issued by the circuit court in Wood County in December for failing to appear for drug court. He originally was arrested by detectives in September 2011 for breaking and entering and was later indicted by the grand jury.
