North Bend Bluegrass Festival begins Friday

CAIRO — The 25th annual North Bend Bluegrass Festival will be Friday and Saturday at North Bend State Park.

The festival runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 per person on Friday and $30 per person on Saturday.

North Bend also offers packages for overnight stays at the park. For more information, call 304-643-2931.

The festival will be held in the park’s amphitheater. There will be concessions and local artisans selling items. The schedule of performers includes:

FRIDAY

* 6 p.m.: The Moron Brothers

* 7 p.m.: Once Blue

* 8 p.m.: The Hillbilly Gypsies

* 9 p.m.: Staats and Vaughn with guest Robert Shaffer

SATURDAY

* 1 p.m.: The Moron Brothers

* 2 p.m.: Nothin’ Fancy

* 3 p.m.: Buck McCumbers and Company

* 4 p.m.: Silas Powell and the Powell Family Band

* 5 p.m.: The Sheppard Brothers

* 6 p.m.: Northwest Territory

* 7 p.m.: Staats and Vaughn with guest Robert Shaffer

* 8 p.m.: The Hillbilly Gypsies

* 9 p.m.: Nothin’ Fancy
