Laugh United show set for Friday in Vienna

VIENNA — The fourth annual Laugh United fundraiser to benefit the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna.

Laugh United: A Night of Cocktails and Comedy will feature four veteran touring comics and Bob and Tom Show legends: Greg Hahn, Jack Freeman, Josh Arnold and Henry Phillips.

The United Way Alliance launched the signature event in April 2016. Laugh United provides an opportunity to create awareness of United Way while giving the community a night of laughter, Executive Director Stacy DeCicco said.

“It has become a tradition to unveil our annual campaign totals at this event,” DeCicco said. “We love that moment of excitement and we are anxious to share that success with our community.”

The event will include tickets for a VIP Reception at 5:30 p.m. featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a meet-and-greet with the comedians and front-of-the-stage seating for the show.

VIP tickets are $75 per person. General admission tickets are $40 per person.

Cocktails will be available for purchase throughout the show for all seating areas.

Tickets are available at the United Way office on Market Street or at uwamov.com.

A limited number of both general admission and VIP tickets are available; however, the show is expected to be a sell out prior to when doors open, DeCicco said.

Laugh United is meant to be “a celebration of the amazing things that the United Way Alliance has been able to do in this community,” DeCicco said.

“With an event like Laugh United, we will not only be reaching our current supporters of the United Way, but we will also be reaching many community members who are just looking for a night out with their friends, some great food and drinks, and some good laughs. This event is the perfect opportunity for that,” DeCicco said. “It has been a year of growth and excitement for our organization and we are looking forward to celebrating that success with our community.”
