Easter Seals tree auction to be held on Dec. 6 at Blennerhassett Hotel

PARKERSBURG — The 32nd annual Easter Seals Festival of Trees is underway at the Blennerhassett Hotel in downtown Parkersburg.

The event features 43 Christmas trees, wreaths and mantel pieces which have been created and decorated by local individuals, businesses and organizations which are on display through Dec. 6 at the Blennerhassett.

The trees have been on display since Nov. 20. On Dec. 6, the items will go on sale with a silent auction at 6 p.m. and the live auction at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the door or in advance. They can be purchased at The Blennerhassett Hotel or by calling Easter Seals at 304-422-3343.

The festival benefits the community through its partnership with Easter Seals. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Easter Seals in its mission to serve children and families throughout the area.
