In 2018, West Virginia and Ohio were ranked at the top of states with the most bullying in public schools and with the most drug overdoses, Wells said. “The money we raise will go to Chocolate Jazz Foundation 501C3 and the fight against bullying,” he said.

Schools are experiencing cutbacks in funding and budgets are slim. Public schools cannot afford to sponsor these types of assemblies, Wells said.
