StubbeFest to be held at Dils Center

PARKERSBURG — Downtown PKB is planning an official ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. Saturday to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Dils Center to kick off StubbeFest.

StubbeFest is a celebration of the life of Todd Stubbe and his dream for revitalizing not only the Dils Center, but downtown Parkersburg as well.

The Dils Center is located at 521 Market St. The ribbon cutting will begin at 3 p.m. with tours of the building and an open house for resident businesses following until 5 p.m.

From 5-11 p.m., StubbeFest will celebrate Todd Stubbe all night featuring six local bands, a beer garden, food trucks as well as comedy by Joel Gant. Tickets for the evening activities are $25 and are available by visiting the Dils Center’s Facebook event page @DilsCenter or $30 at the door.

The ticket price includes a StubbeFest beer glass; the event is BYOB. Food on site will be Q Wagon BBQ, HotDog Willies, Dippy Dough, Unity Cafe and others.

The entertainment lineup will include:

* 5 p.m.: Jake Eddy

* 6 p.m.: Shaun and Sean Band
