St. Albans church celebrates its 150th anniversary
ST. ALBANS — With its wellknown bell tower, First Presbyterian Church of St. Albans has become a landmark church for the area. Located at Kanawha Terrace and 3rd Avenue, people have been congregating there for 150 years.
To celebrate this milestone in their history, First Presbyterian is opening its doors for fun, family and worshiping throughout the weekend Aug. 18 and 19, according to a news release from the church.
The community is invited to join them for an open house celebration, regardless of denominational affiliation.
