VIENNA — The Pink By Poolside fundraiser at the Vienna home of Dr. Abdi and Manijeh Ghodsi will be held 7-10 p.m. Sept. 7.

Proceeds from the evening provide free mammograms and related diagnostic testing for uninsured and underinsured area residents, said Kim Couch, executive director of the Camden Clark Foundation, which sponsors the event.

Mix and mingle at the Ghodsi home at 5201 Grand Central Ave. during an evening of food, beverages, prizes and dancing.

Food stations will be provided by local caterers, signature cocktails and complimentary bar service will be offered, and there will be live entertainment and dancing at Club Pink. The outdoor dance floor will be expanded this year.

A punch board will provide an opportunity to win bottles of wine and other prizes. Valet parking will be available.

Lui Lui Restaurant, Valley Catering, Special Occasions Catering, Grand Pointe, Parkersburg Country Club, Sodexo-Camden Clark, Whit’s and Parkersburg Brewing Company will be the caterers. Event partners are Crown Event Rentals and Crown Florals.

Tickets are $100 per person. For more information call 304-424-2200, email kim.couch@wvumedicine.org or go to the Camden Clark Foundation’s website.

Each $100 ticket sold provides a free mammogram for a local person who is underinsured or uninsured.

More than 300 people attended last year’s fundraiser, which raised a record $45,000.
