PARKERSBURG — The Artsbridge Summer Music in the Park concert series continues with Britain performing at 7 p.m. today at City Park in the band shell.

In case of rain, the concert will move to the horseshoe pit shelter.

Britain performs ’60s and ’70s classic rock music and its repertoire consists of songs by The Beatles, Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, Zombie’s and other artists from that time period.

Members of the band are Dan Staats, bass and vocals; Preston Dabbs, guitar and vocals; John Jobes, drums; and John Gallagher, guitar, keyboard and vocals. They have played with a variety of bands for more than 40 years.

The Summer Music series is hosted by Artsbridge and today’s performance is sponsored by Community Bank. The free concert is open to all with donations accepted to benefit Arts Education programming in the local schools.

Liberty Street Church of God will have free ice cream while supplies last. Bring a lawn chair.
