Benefit Bike Show set for Sunday in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG — The 14th annual Benefit Bike Show, in support of Make-A-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, will be Sunday at the Nemesis Shrine of Parkersburg, 244 Watson Road.

There is a $10 entry fee to enter bikes of all makes and models. Classes will be Big Twin, Touring, Metric Cruiser, Sportster Classic, Sports Bike, and Custom and Trike. The competition will be judged by the public and awards given in all classes.

Registration begins at 1 p.m., bike show from 3-5 p.m. and voting ends at 3 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Bikers United For Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with a critical illness.

There will be 50/50 drawings, food and cold beverages. Food and drink proceeds benefit the Ohio Valley Shrine Club, which helps families seeking medical care for children at Shriners Hospitals for Children.
