Trembly receives scholarship from P.E.O.

PARKERSBURG — Megan Trembly recently received a check from Susan St. Jean and Judy Langkamer, co-chairwomen of P.E.O. Chapter Z’s Project Committee, to assist Trembly with education expenses at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

The International Chapter of P.E.O. provided this $3,000 scholarship from its Program for Continuing Education Fund.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization celebrating the advancement of women, and educating women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and the stewardship of Cottey College. P.E.O. chapters in cities, states and provinces throughout the U.S. and Canada all support these many projects, contributing to these funds and assisting women through the application process.

Trembly has completed an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, is employed by WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, and is working toward a Bachelor Regent’s Degree with business and management emphasis.
