OUTlandish Bingo fundraiser set for Sunday in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG — The OUTlandish Bingo Fundraiser to benefit Parkersburg Pride will be held beginning 6 p.m. Sunday at the Dils Center on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg.

Doors open 5:30 p.m. for general admission and 4:30 p.m. for those who have pre-purchased tickets.

Admission is $20, which includes 20 bingo games and entertainment by drag performers from around the state and region. Mistress of Ceremonies, the Lucy Lipps, has gathered 13 drag queens and kings who are ready to strut their stuff for charity.

Prizes include multiple cash games, spa treatments, Yeti cooler and tumbler, designer purses, outings in Columbus and Canaan Valley and restaurant gift cards provided by donors. Also available will be 50/50 tickets and pull-tab raffle tickets.

Tapas snacks prepared by Chef Tere of Mango Latin Bistro, water and soft drinks will be available.

“Proceeds of our OUTlandish Bingo will allow Parkersburg Pride to provide more free community events like our recent Pride Picnic. We hope everyone will join us for an evening of fun and festivity to benefit the entire community,” said Cammy Murray, president of Parkersburg Pride.

Event is open to those 18 and over.

The nonprofit Parkersburg Pride is a social and educational resources for the LGBTQ community, supporters, friends and family members. It sponsors events and programs that enrich the Parkersburg community and affirm the value of LGBTQ people in that community, the group said.
