VIENNA — Members of the West Virginia Symphony League Parkersburg Tie One On Committee are modeling several of the aprons that will be auctioned at the tea on Saturday, April 21, at 3 p.m. at the Parkersburg Country Club.

The cost is $30 per person.

Area artists and seamstresses are donating aprons for the event, which is being held to raise money for the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the education programs that are presented to area school children.

Those donating aprons are Abby Hayhurst, whose special apron is made of John Lee’s and Pat Leggett’s neckties; Kathy Leggett; Annett Fehrenbacher; artist Carol Bidstrup; artist Lavana Lemley; Carl Mayfield of Parkersburg Country Club; Becky Deem; Kiki Angelos and Debbie Nesselroad. Aprons will be artistic, flamboyant, glitzy, and fun for men, women and children, Deem said.
